Black Mustard (Brassica nigra) silhouetted against setting sun. These plants take over farmers fields at will. No matter what has been planted, the field will be yellow even when the soil is too dry to grow the intended crop.
This shot used the globe of the setting sun as a background to try to give the viewer an impression of the amazing hardiness of this plant.
